Case Study — Parallel88th: An International Artist Portfolio, Built by SolveEase

Every pixel tells a story. That’s the promise behind Parallel88th — the online home of traveler-artist YKcir D. Parallel — and SolveEase built that promise into a working website: a clean portfolio, a shop with purchasable digital paintings, class listings, contact and social channels, and an admin workflow that makes the artist’s life easier. The site is live at parallel88th.com and showcases the gallery, shop items, and artist bio we delivered.

The Brief (What the Artist Needed)

YKcir wanted a simple, elegant place to:

  • Show a curated international portfolio that reflects travel-inspired themes (Bhutan, Nepal, India).
  • Sell digital paintings directly from the site (clear pricing, cart flow).
  • Promote classes and workshops, and surface social proof (testimonials, social links).
  • Have a reliable, easy-to-manage admin and deployment process so updates and sales run without friction.

In short: a human-forward gallery that also functions as a small ecommerce platform and artist hub.

Our Approach (How We Solved It)

We focused on two priorities: clarity for visitors and simplicity for the artist.

  • Design & copy that respects the work. The homepage highlights themes (“Inspired by Bhutan / Nepal / India”), showcases select pieces for quick access, and features the artist’s story front-and-center so visitors understand the meaning behind each piece.
  • Direct-buy experience. The shop presents pieces with clear pricing and an intuitive “Add to Cart” flow — enabling visitors to buy art without distraction. Payment integration via Stripe ensures secure and seamless checkout.
  • Admin + classes + contact. We added an admin panel to manage artworks, schedules, and testimonials, along with contact pathways for commissions and workshops.
  • Reliable delivery. We implemented CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and smooth hosting so the artist can focus on creating — not maintaining.

What We Built (The Concrete Deliverables)

  • A responsive, accessible portfolio and shop (Next.js frontend, Tailwind CSS styling).
  • Stripe-based payments and cart flow for selling digital paintings.
  • Admin panel to manage artworks, prices, classes, testimonials, and orders.
  • Classes & bookings pages — a space to sell live sessions and workshops.
  • CI/CD pipelines and hosted deployment for speed, uptime, and reliability.
  • Social and contact integration (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and contact form).

Results

  • A live storefront with a fully functioning gallery and shop where visitors can browse, add pieces to their cart, and start a checkout.
  • Artist-owned admin control to easily update artworks, pricing, and class listings.
  • A polished presentation of the artist’s story and testimonials, turning visitors into collectors and participants.

What the Artist (and Visitors) Get

  • A site that feels like a gallery rather than a storefront.
  • Clear buying experience for collectors.
  • Booking and payment options for live classes and workshops.
  • Low-maintenance deployment and admin workflow that suits a traveling artist’s lifestyle.

(Parallel88th lists contact details and social channels directly on the site so visitors can connect or commission work.)

A Short, Human Story

YKcir’s art is born on the road — inspired by valleys, temples, and the colors of the places he visits. Our goal was to match that energy: a site that feels open, reflective, and inviting. What we built acts as a living portfolio where each piece tells a memory, and the buying journey stays simple and natural.
